On
Sunday (14
th of
july) we decided to be
proper tourists and visit the bird park. Its only a 15 min drive from where we live.
The kids love
penguins (the stuffed
penguin Granddad sent have been used a lot + the movie Happy Feet!), so they both agreed that this was the first place we should stop. For 20
sing dollars we were allowed to pat the
penguin and had our picture taken.
Heaps of people feeding birds, so no point for us to do it this time.... maybe next time this
will be Thomas' or Phillips' hand!

Legs got a bit tired.....so we went on the train. Gave up our seats to a big Indian
family, and where
allowed to sit in the front with the driver.
And then it was about time to head home.........
